Craft Beer Server Land Akasaka-Mitsuke, located on the basement floor near Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, updated its tap list for May 1. As expected of a shop that serves Japanese craft beer on 31 taps, the selection spans a wide range of styles, from lager and IPA to saison and cider.

The new tap for the day is “102×69 Roggen Roll / Rye Helles”, a collaboration among Yatsugatake Beer TOUCHDOWN × Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara × Craft Beer Server Land. It is being introduced as a beer that layers the clean drinkability of a rye helles with the character of rye.

In the tap list shown in the image, Sapporo Beer’s “Edelpils”, Reihourou Beer’s “Japanese Tea Red Lager”, and FLORA FERMENTATION’s “Cascara / Dunkel w/ Coffee Cherry” can also be seen. In addition, there are beers such as Swan Lake Beer’s “Amber ale”, Gujo Hachiman Beer Kobokobo’s “Yuzu Ale,” “Cream Ale,” “J-Brown / Yuzu Brown Ale,” and “Brown Ale,” Y.Market Brewing’s “Hysteric IPA,” Himitsu Beer’s “Mabudachi Saison” and “Rakko ni Hiza / DDH IPA,” NAMACHAん Brewing’s “Mango Weizen,” and Yokohama Beer’s “Peach Wheat Ale,” spanning different regions and styles.

Even though it is in the basement of a building in Akasaka-Mitsuke, the interior has the approachable feel of an easy-to-drop-in beer pub. Since it also offers tasting flights, it is easy to start with a light lager and then move on to IPA or darker styles later in the session. It is a reliable lineup when you want to pair beer with food and find the right pint for the day.
