Sakura Taps updates two taps on Sunday, June 21, alongside Taco Rice Sunday
At Sakura Taps in Yokohama, Sunday, June 21 brings a Taco Rice Sunday special and two newly rotated taps. The featured dish pairs seasonal corn rice with spiced minced taco meat.
Sakura Taps, a craft-beer pub on the second floor in Yoshidacho, Kannai, serves eight rotating taps and opens from 13:00 on Sundays. On June 21, the bar is also offering its Sunday-only Taco Rice Sunday special: a plate built around seasonal sweet corn rice and spicy minced taco meat.
Two taps were swapped in during the previous night’s service. The headline additions are GRAPEEE / FARMENTRY and Schwarz / Baeren Brewery. GRAPEEE is a collaboration celebrating the 20th anniversary of bar NALU in Shinno-guchi, Kashihara, and it leans into the theme of grapes and fermentation with parallel fermentation using French saison yeast and wine yeast. Schwarz is a smooth, easy-drinking dark lager with a roasty character and a lighter finish than its color suggests.
The rest of the current lineup includes Yoshidamachi Helles 2026 / Sakura Taps × Numazu Craft, Kaeri Awaji / Shirosuzume, KASUMI / Shiga Kogen Beer, Unexpected / Sakura Kunsei Kobo × 254 BeeR, ONE HAND DANK / Craftrock Brewing × AGARIHAMA, and SHŪCHŪ / Faló Brewing. Together, the taps cover a wide range from clean lagers to collaboration beers, making the board worth checking even for regulars.
With its relaxed atmosphere and daytime hours, Sakura Taps works well for a long beer break as much as for a light meal-and-a-pint stop. If you want to track a changing tap list in Kannai, this is a strong place to start.
