Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture-based Doctor Kong Brewing announced that it will set up shop at the Renofa Yamaguchi FC vs. Kagoshima United FC match to be held at Ishin Mirai Stadium on Saturday, April 18. Sales begin at 9:40, and kickoff is at 13:40.

The lineup this time includes THE ANSWER (American-Belgo-Style-Ale with koji) and TWO (Kome-Koji Sour Ale). Both were brewed to commemorate the brewery's second anniversary, and their defining feature is the use of koji. The introduction says a special koji that produces citric acid is used, creating a refreshing tartness well suited to spring.

On the day, menchi-katsu and Chicken Hero by @kikurin_2929 are also scheduled to be sold, and special value sets with craft beer will be available as well. Combined with match viewing, the setup lets visitors enjoy beer and food at the stadium.

For the brewery, which makes craft beer based in Ube, setting up shop at a local soccer club's venue also serves as a way to showcase the brand's character. These two beers, highlighting the tartness and aroma derived from koji, are sure to tempt beer fans as well.
