LANA Beer taps Shirosuzume Schwarzbier and Miroku Beer IPL, also serving beef tendon stew in a dote-ni style
The beer pub LANA Beer in Mizonokuchi, Kawasaki, is preparing beef tendon stew in a red-miso-based dote-ni style and will offer it in limited quantities for the weekend. It is also tapping Shirosuzume Schwarzbier and Miroku Beer IPL, creating a lineup designed with food pairings in mind.
LANA Beer is a beer pub and beer stand in Mizonokuchi, Kanagawa. On its official website, it offers pours such as "Sapporo Draft Beer Black Label Once-Pour," "The Perfect Black Label," "Asahi Draft Beer Maruef," "SORACHI1984," and "BREWDOG PUNK IPA," all served through swing faucets, while the food menu is also built around beer. The food lineup centers on dishes meant to be enjoyed with drinks, including beer-pub edamame, house-made sauerkraut, currywurst, a sausage platter, and beef skirt steak.
In this Instagram post, the shop announced that it will prepare beef tendon stew in a "dote-ni style" and serve it in limited quantities for the weekend. Since the previous red-miso-based version was well received, this one follows that approach while leaning slightly sweeter and richer to pair with the stocked Shirosuzume Schwarzbier. In addition, Miroku Beer IPL is scheduled to be tapped starting tomorrow, making for a lineup that is easy to enjoy alongside the stew.
LANA Beer is the kind of place that works both for a casual stop for one or two drinks and for a meal you want to sit down and enjoy properly at a table. It is an easy choice when you want to enjoy the character of beer and the compatibility between drinks and food at the same time.
