Beer Bar Festa (Festa) Shimokitazawa published its April 3 tap list. The new tap is Canada’s DDC "Don du Lucan," presented as a dry-finishing hazy IPA.
The shop is a beer pub near Shimokitazawa Station, and one of its features is that you can enjoy darts in addition to craft beer. In a post, it says, "It’s a small shop, but brewers come by," giving a sense of the atmosphere as a place where people gather through beer. On Fridays, it is noted to close at 4, making it convenient for staying out late into the night.
The domestic lineup for the day includes Y Market "Beepul," Repubrew "Hamburg no Kuroi Kiri," Matsue Beer Herun "Sansho White Ale," Iwate Kura "Sanriku Oyster Stout," and the regular beer "Heartland." The imported selection includes Burnt Mill "Diamond Lake," Silver City "Hefeweizen" and "Range West IPA," Thornbridge "Double Green Mountain," Lucky Envelope "Tangerine Hazy IPA," Puyallup "Cozy Night," and Echoes "Monk's Indiscretion."
The shop also promotes events such as "all-you-can-throw darts" and "Beer Lovers' Gathering," making it a place to enjoy not only drinking but also socializing and events. Since some labels are down to their last few servings, it may be best to visit early if there is a beer you want to try.
