At the beer pub "Fujisawa Beer Shokudo Beer Maison" in the Fujisawa Station area, an April-only Kyushu craft beer fair is currently underway. An Instagram post explains that this month’s special lineup lets guests enjoy craft beers from Kyushu, with distinctive keg pours offered alongside the regular selections.

The main appeal this time is the chance to taste both standards and limited-time brews at once. The regular menu features Asahi Maruef and Pilsner Urquell. Maruef can be ordered with either a sharp pour or a double pour, while Pilsner Urquell is available in hladinka and milk pours. Being able to enjoy the differences in pouring style is a welcome bonus for beer lovers.

The April-only additions are the following lineup:

- NOVORU Brewing Warau
- NOVORU Brewing Musubu
- Island Brewery Yuzu-Gosho Ale
- NOVORU Brewing Nuvoru

Each is a beer with a character unlike your usual pint, and they are well suited to comparing aroma and flavor side by side. In particular, Yuzu-Gosho Ale, whose name evokes yuzu pepper, makes it easy to imagine food pairings and seems enjoyable both on its own and alongside dishes.

The shop is located in a station-area neighborhood on Kugenuma Ishigami in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. True to the spirit of a beer pub, it offers an environment where you can settle in and slowly tilt your glass, making it a convenient spot for anyone seeking the reassurance of familiar favorites and the discovery of monthly specials at the same time. Since this is a one-month-only event, anyone wanting to drink Kyushu craft beer in Fujisawa will want to visit while they can.
