North Island Beer to hold a family-focused thank-you event at EBRI in Ebetsu on August 16
North Island Beer will hold its North Island Beer Thanksgiving Festival on August 16 at EBRI in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. In its Instagram post, the brewery highlights free kids' fair games, a sticker-hunt activity, and advance tickets now on sale.
North Island Beer, a craft brewery that has been brewing in Ebetsu, Hokkaido since 2003, is set to host a family-oriented thank-you event. The venue is EBRI at 3-3 Higashinohoro-cho, Ebetsu, and the event will run on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is also a convenient location, about a five-minute walk from JR Nopporo Station.
Free activities for children
According to the brewery's Instagram post, the event is designed as a festival that families can enjoy together. A free kids' fair area will feature ring toss and yo-yo fishing, with prizes and yo-yos available while supplies last.
A stamp rally inside the venue
Another highlight is the "Find Beer-ti!" game. Visitors can look for Beer-ti stickers posted around the EBRI building, then speak to nearby North Island Beer staff to receive a stamp. Collecting five stamps earns a prize, and stamp cards will be distributed at the kids' fair corner.
A local event from an Ebetsu brewery
North Island Beer is known for its core lineup as well as limited and seasonal releases. The brewery also uses local ingredients in some of its beers, reinforcing its ties to the community in Ebetsu. This festival follows that same approach: it is a beer-related event, but one built around family participation rather than beer alone.
Advance tickets are available through the link in the Instagram profile or via the QR code in the post. Paper tickets are also being sold at the Ebetsu brewery, Beer Bar North Island, Cocomocha, and EBRI.
