BeerMa Kitasenju taps three Kyoto Brewing guest beers, including "Six Days Off" and other new arrivals
At BeerMa Kitasenju, a beer pub in Kitasenju, Tokyo, three guest beers from Kyoto Brewing have just started pouring. From a session IPA to a wheat beer and an oatmeal stout, the lineup lets you enjoy several very different styles at once. Because tap capacity is limited, getting there early is the smart move.
At BeerMa Kitasenju, located at 2-62 Senju, Adachi-ku, Tokyo, three guest beers from Kyoto Brewing are being featured. The highlight this time is being able to compare, in one sitting, everything from a beer centered on lightness and aroma to darker styles that emphasize roasted character.
The beers on offer are the session IPA "Six Days Off", which is said to feature a tropical citrus character with pine-resin-like notes; "Baijitsumuchu", a Belgian-style wheat beer blended with kuro-moji wood; and "Sharare Oatmeal Stout-hen", a beer defined by flavors reminiscent of caramel and chocolate. Even from the same brewery, the lineup lets you experience a wide range of flavors.
BeerMa Kitasenju is an easy place to stop by when you want to carefully choose craft beer around the station area. Guest kegs rotate quickly, so the right move is to grab any label that catches your eye while it is available. This time there is also a note that stock on tap 1 is limited, so Kyoto Brewing fans are advised to check in early.
