Chiitoko Shoten, a beer pub in Shimosuwa, Nagano, has announced a four-beer draft lineup for September 6, 2026, with two new kegs being tapped. The shop will be open from 10:00 to 22:00.
The highlight is Minoh Beer’s Kokusan Momo Weizen Hakuho, a 5.0% ABV wheat beer brewed with Japanese peaches. It is described as soft, juicy, and distinctly peach-forward, with a fruitiness reminiscent of peach nectar.
Also newly tapped is Yokohama Bay Brewing’s Bay Pilsner. This 5.0% Bohemian Pilsner is presented as crisp and easy-drinking, with a clean bitterness and floral hop aroma. The beer is also noted for winning first place in the Bohemian Pilsner category at WBC2025.
The remaining taps are Nice Pace, a 5.5% Pale Ale from Field Ales, and Sono Ju, a 7.5% Imperial IPA from Shiga Kogen Beer. Together, the lineup offers a range from bright and approachable pale ale to a fuller, hop-driven imperial IPA.
Chiitoko Shoten combines craft beer with coffee and dagashi, traditional Japanese snack-shop sweets. Guests can also pair their beer with baked goods such as sausage rolls, banana bread, scones, brownies, and cookies. Payment is made in advance by cash or PayPay.
