A six-beer lineup in Nishikawaguchi

GROW BREW HOUSE, a brewpub in Nishikawaguchi, Kawaguchi, has released “Toda Illumi,” a beer inspired by the annual illumination event in Toda. The beer is brewed with Champagne yeast and balanced with fruity hops for a bright, refreshing profile.

Despite its light body, the beer is described as flavorful, with white grape and citrus aromas, an oily fruit-peel character, and occasional malt notes. Its layered profile should appeal to drinkers who enjoy pale ales with both hop expression and malt depth.

The tap list features six beers: “Toda Illumi HOPPY Pale Ale” at 5% ABV, “Heiji Hazy IPA” at 5%, “Yukiai Dry Hopd Pils” at 5%, “Yoi no Chamekke Brawn Ale” at 4%, “NK.BLACK PORTER” at 5%, and “Kamine Saison Yuzu Fruits Saison” at 6%.

The selection moves from hop-forward pale and hazy styles to a brown ale, porter, and yuzu saison, making it well suited to a casual tasting flight. Guests can begin with Toda Illumi, then explore the darker and more expressive options depending on their mood.

GROW BREW HOUSE offers house-brewed beer in the Kawaguchi area. Tap availability may change, so guests should check the latest information before visiting.
