A New Release from Koshien's "Outfield"

The new release introduced by Koshien Outfield Brewery is FULLCOUNT. In the post, it is positioned as a KOB-style NZ Style IPA, and presented as a beer that uses three hops lavishly: Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Simcoe.

The flavor profile is designed around a bright aroma reminiscent of white grapes and tropical fruit, layered over a crisp drinking finish. The post describes it as having "a strong hop presence while keeping a clear and dry finish," and the specs are ABV 7.0% / IBU 39.

A Name That Reflects Koshien

The brewery is a brewpub and brewery located in Nishinomiya City, right next to Hanshin Koshien Stadium. It opened in April 2025, and one of its defining features is that you can enjoy freshly brewed craft beer on the spot. The name "OUTFIELD" refers to the outfield in baseball, and it is also a name chosen with Koshien's local identity in mind.

This FULLCOUNT can also be seen as carrying on that local atmosphere. It adds another option for people stopping by before or after a baseball game, and for local beer fans, it broadens the lineup for tasting comparisons.
