Looking Back on MOUNTAIN BEER WEEKEND'26

In a post from Minamiaizu Mountain Brewing / Taproom BeerFridge, the brewery expressed thanks to the visitors and vendors who came to MOUNTAIN BEER WEEKEND'26, and offered a concrete look at the event itself. Beer was served in 21 varieties over four days. Starting with 16 varieties and mixing in some early-tapped releases, the lineup was designed to keep drinkers engaged.

The post highlights three beers: "pfiou," matured through secondary fermentation in the package; a nitro version of "100," touted for its smooth mouthfeel; and a tasting comparison of "BOKKER." BOKKER was poured in three different serving styles: CO2, nitro, and real ale, letting people enjoy how the same beer can show different expressions depending on the pour, gas pressure, and serving temperature.

A BeerFridge-Like Place to Enjoy a Pint

Taproom BeerFridge is a brewpub near Aizutajima Station. Surrounded by wooden counters and benches, the space has a warmth that reflects the owner’s background in the lumber business, and it offers a calm atmosphere where you can focus on the beer. In place of snacks, it’s casual enough that you can buy something from a nearby supermarket or convenience store and bring it in, which says a lot about the shop’s laid-back vibe.

At the event, the emphasis was not only on beer, but also on sharing the delicious food and fun things that Fukushima and Minamiaizu have to offer. Centered on craft beer, it was a post that conveyed the appeal of the taproom as a place where local residents and travelers naturally gather.
