North Island Beer will hold its 17th anniversary festival at EBRI in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, on August 16. The brewery says this year’s theme is sports, with baseball-inspired storytelling, food pairings, and advance ticket sales.
North Island Beer, a brewery based in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, will hold its 17th anniversary festival at EBRI on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The venue is 3-3 Higashinopporo-cho, Ebetsu, about a five-minute walk from JR Nopporo Station. The brewery’s official site describes it as a maker of regular, limited, and seasonal beers, and it also operates a tap bar in Sapporo.
This year’s theme is “sports.” In its Instagram post, the brewery says it drew inspiration from the sports-heavy year of 2026, including the Winter Olympics, the WBC, and the World Cup. The post also introduces “Taputi,” a baseball-themed character who practices quietly before the game and looks forward to a brown ale after the match.
The event will also include food-and-beer pairing plans with participating vendors, with dishes matched to the brown ale. Advance tickets are on sale, and the brewery says the all-you-can-drink ticket for the first 50 guests was nearly sold out at the time of posting.
