Beer pub PEDROLINO in Andoji-cho, Chuo Ward, Osaka, announced the beers it will serve at "Doza Morning" on Sunday, April 5. Based on the pub's theme of "craft beer to enjoy with meals," the lineup consists of three domestic draft beers, plus beers from bottles and bag-in-box formats available by the glass.
The draft selection this time is a lineup designed with everything from a morning drink to food pairing in mind.
- Golem (FLORA FERMENTATION / Shiga)
Czech-style pilsner, ABV 5.0%. A classic lager made with floor-malted malt and finished with decoction. Its features are a gentle herbal hop character, malt sweetness, and a refined bitterness in balance.
- Charcoal-Roasted MILD ALE (Shima Brewery / Mie)
Mild ale with coffee beans, ABV 3.5%. Brewed with espresso coffee beans charcoal-roasted over binchotan, this beer layers a roasty aroma over a malty flavor. Its lower alcohol content makes it easy to reach for even in the morning.
- Hanami Gose (CHORYO / Nara)
Fruit gose with pickled cherry blossoms and cherries, ABV 4.5%. This sour ale uses pickled cherry blossoms and Sato Nishiki cherries, bringing together a sweet aroma, soft acidity, the fullness of wheat, and a salty accent.
In addition, Winter Lambic (Oud Beersel / Belgium) will also be offered by the glass. A straight lambic with pine buds, ABV 6.8%, it is introduced as a rare still beer that combines the complexity derived from wild yeast with the cool botanical character of pine buds.
As a beer pub with roots in Italian cuisine, PEDROLINO is appealing for how closely it brings food and beer together. This time, the lineup ranges widely from a light pilsner to a coffee-laced mild ale, a springlike gose, and a strongly individual lambic, making it an easy and enjoyable selection to pair with a morning meal.
