Kyoto Arashiyama Brewery will set up at the Hankyu Arashiyama Station riverside plaza on Sunday, Aug. 2, for the Nishikyo Ward 50th anniversary event, Arashiyama no Chiisana Mori no Tsunagaru Fes: Nishikyo CONNECT. In its Instagram post, the brewery describes the day as a beer event in Arashiyama, with 10 vendors taking part and a chance to sample a wide range of beers.
The festival was announced by Kyoto City’s Nishikyo Ward office on June 30. It runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and includes craft beer, food booths linked to the local Nishiterasu network of cafes and bakeries, stage performances, and festival-style games. The event is scheduled to go ahead in light rain and be canceled in severe weather, making it a compact summer program built around food, drinks, and neighborhood activity.
On its official website, Kyoto Arashiyama Brewery says it is rooted in Kyoto and brews beer for people around the world to enjoy with a smile. Based at its Sanjo Brewery/Brew Pub in Nakagyo Ward, the brewery has developed a profile that fits naturally with events connecting craft beer, local culture, and the Arashiyama area.
