Matsumoto Gakuto Brewing to Make Its First Appearance at Ebina's "BEER KINGDAM" in April
Nagano-based Matsumoto Gakuto Brewing announced that it will set up a booth at the beer event "BEER KINGDAM," held in Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture, from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12, 2026. This will be its first booth in the Kanagawa area, and it plans to serve six varieties, including a JGBA2026 award-winning beer.
Matsumoto Gakuto Brewing revealed its event appearance in an Instagram post at 9:14 p.m. on February 26, 2026. The venue will be in front of Lalaport on the west side of JR Ebina Station in Ebina City, and the event will run for four days from Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12. The event is called "BEER KINGDAM."
According to the post, this will be the brewery's first appearance in the Kanagawa area. Although it is one of the smaller breweries participating, it plans to bring a total of six beers, including limited-keg items. Among those six will also be a JGBA2026 award-winning beer.
Highlights
- First booth in the Kanagawa area
- Four consecutive days of events (April 9-12)
- Six beers planned, including a JGBA2026 award-winning beer
- Limited-keg offerings planned
For Matsumoto Gakuto Brewing, which is based in Nagano, this appearance should be a chance to expand connections beyond the prefecture. It offers the possibility of trying labels that are not often available in distant areas, making it noteworthy for craft beer fans in the greater Tokyo area as well.
Because inventory and the beers being poured may change from day to day during the event, arriving early is the realistic way to target the limited-keg releases. With its first booth in Kanagawa, attention will be on what kind of response Matsumoto Gakuto Brewing receives.
