F-RUSH, a beer pub in Teramachi, Matsue, has added elán, a collaboration beer from Farmentry and Uchoten Brewery. The beer is a Belgian Amber Double built around malt design, using several malts with different roast levels to avoid leaning too far into sweetness or heaviness.

Its aroma centers on ripe apple and green apple esters, layered with dried fruit and caramel notes. By keeping fermentation temperatures on the cooler side, the spice character stays in the background. During fermentation and maturation, a small amount of French oak chips adds vanilla and woody accents, giving the beer extra depth.

It has a solid body and a warm alcohol presence, yet finishes smooth and dry. Because the beer changes with time and temperature, it is the kind of pint that rewards slow drinking. With up to 16 craft beer taps, F-RUSH is well set up for tasting guest beers alongside local sake and other spirits, making it an easy stop for beer-focused drinkers in Matsue.
