Eight drinks on tap at NEIGHBOR

NEIGHBOR, a beer pub in Nogata, Nakano, Tokyo, has updated its tap list with eight selections. The featured new arrival is Kyoto Brewing’s Share: Coffee Brown Ale Edition. Brewed with El Salvador coffee roasted in Kyoto, the beer combines roasted coffee aromas with malt flavors reminiscent of hazelnut, chocolate, and caramel. Despite its rich, roasty character, it is described as having the calm, approachable finish associated with an English-style pub ale.

The beer lineup also includes Ushitora Brewery’s #996 Bohemian Pils, Himitsu Beer’s VS, NUDE BEER’s KOUN-Koun-, FILL BREWING’s 55KINGS, and Firestone Walker’s Mind Haze. The range covers a Bohemian pilsner, soba ale, fruit ale with spices, golden ale, and hazy IPA, offering plenty of stylistic variety in one visit.

For cider drinkers, Green Neighbors Hard Cider’s CLEAR YELLOW and CLEAR RED are also available. Both are listed as modern ciders, giving the eight-tap selection an additional option beyond beer.

NEIGHBOR’s food recommendations include a katsuo carpaccio topped with house-made ume soy-sauce gelée and plenty of aromatics. The lightly seared fish is specifically described as a good match for Himitsu Beer. Other recommendations include fig salami and scallop-and-spinach cream pasta.

Located on Nogata’s J-ARC Nogata building, NEIGHBOR brings together rotating craft drinks, food, and a relaxed pub atmosphere. The bar also announced two days of nostalgic records, adding a music-focused change of mood to the regular tap-list experience.
