Tsuji Brewing, a brewpub in Misumicho, Chigasaki, Kanagawa, announced that it has connected a new beer on tap: Kiwi IPA. In the post, the brewery thanked visitors who stopped by its tent at a recent event near Ebina Station, then noted that its taproom had just finished a two-day run of Tripel before switching over to the new beer.

Kiwi IPA may sound like a nod to New Zealand hops, but this version is brewed with kiwi fruit actually grown and made delicious in Odawara. The post says the beer contains nearly 10% kiwi paste, and that the body and aroma hops were kept light to match the warmer season, resulting in a crisp, refreshing IPA. Tsuji Brewing also credited Akisawa-en in Odawara for supplying the fruit.

The brewery also shared that it will take part in Umichika Marche ~June's Ocean and Craft Beer~ at HUG-RIDE PARK on June 13 and 14. Tsuji Brewing will be there only on June 13, and its taproom will be open from 14:00 to 18:00 that day as well. For beer fans, the combination of a seaside event in Fujisawa and a neighborhood brewpub in Chigasaki gives this release a strong local feel. The post also notes that Smoked Ale is on tap in June, so there is more than one beer to explore.
