Hakuraku Mokki, a craft beer pub in Rokkakubashi, Yokohama, is now serving Minoh Beer’s seasonal Peach Weizen〈Kawanakajima〉.

Peach Weizen is part of Minoh Beer’s popular seasonal series made with Japanese peaches from Hachiki Farm in Wakayama. The Kawanakajima version is the final release in the four-variety lineup. This peach variety is known for its firm flesh, rich sweetness, and full fragrance, giving the beer a ripe, expressive fruit aroma.

The base beer is a Weizen brewed with wheat malt. Fruity notes from the Weizen yeast, including hints of clove and banana, meet the fragrant character of peach. Its mouthfeel is soft and smooth, with a pale, cloudy appearance typical of the style. Despite the pronounced fruit impression, the finish is clean and dry rather than sugary.

The beer has an alcohol content of 5.0% and 12 IBU, making it a gentle, low-bitterness choice. Minoh Beer recommends serving it at 8–12°C, allowing drinkers to explore how the peach aroma develops as the beer warms slightly.

Hakuraku Mokki offers a relaxed setting for enjoying craft beer in the Rokkakubashi area. The Peach Weizen〈Kawanakajima〉 should appeal both to fans of fruit-forward beers and to drinkers who appreciate the soft, aromatic character of a Weizen. Check availability before visiting and enjoy this seasonal guest beer while it lasts.
