Half Yard Shiki, a beer pub located on the 3rd floor of the Hayashi Building near Shiki Station in Honcho, Shiki City, Saitama Prefecture, is a place where you can enjoy craft beer from Japan and overseas alike. In this post (March 25, 2026, 18:50), two newly tapped guest beers were introduced.

First is Isekadoya Beer’s "Brain-Melting Ultra Heaven 3xIPA." It was introduced as a beer that had "finally returned after a long time," and is described as a full-bodied beer at 10.0% ABV with a rich hop-driven aroma and a bitter, dry finish. As you keep drinking, notes of stone fruit, herbs, and a subtle sweetness emerge, making it a beer that hop lovers looking for strong aroma and bitterness won’t want to miss.

The other is Baird Beer’s "Saison Sayuri." This saison centers on spicy notes and refreshing citrus character, and this time the balance of gentle sweetness and aroma from the use of kumquat juice is highlighted. Designed to feel light yet soft, it is also a beer well suited to sipping slowly alongside a meal.

A dense 3xIPA and a saison that lets you enjoy layers of aroma. Being able to compare such different styles in the same venue is part of the appeal of Half Yard Shiki, which keeps a close eye on tap updates. It offers choices whether you want to drink deeply and firmly, or start off in a lighter mood.
