Himalaya table, a homey beer pub two minutes on foot from Kanda Station's West Exit, is a place where you can relax with Nepalese food as your drinking companion. Its official website also presents it as a spot you can use for anything from a quick drink to a meal, with no table charge.

In its Instagram post on Saturday, April 11, the bar announced a 15:00 opening time and introduced the following eight draft beers.

- Nihonkai Club Pilsner
- Nara Brewing Philharmony BELGIAN WIT w/TACHIBANA
- Baeren Onmenbroi-RAUCH BOCK-
- Hop Kotan Ignition-Session IPL-
- T.Y.HABOR Pale Ale
- Swan Lake Album(Alt)
- Brasserie Knot HARBOR(SIPA)
- ogna Hima Bitter (anniversary beer)

The lineup starts light with Nihonkai Club's Pilsner, shifts the drinking profile with a Belgian wit and a session IPL, and then lets you enjoy more depth with the rauch bock and altbier. Himalaya table's appeal is that it naturally connects these beer personalities with Nepalese dishes such as momo. The wide range of dishes, from steamed to fried to stir-fried, also makes them easy to pair with a draft beer tasting.

For days when you want to drink craft beer calmly in Kanda, this is one to remember as an early Saturday stop.
