Craft beer kitchen Kokorono Tsuki posts six-tap lineup for Aug. 23
The Yokohama beer pub in Miyagawa-cho shared its tap list for Sunday, Aug. 23. The lineup includes Garden Path Fermentation, Nara Brewing, Hop Kotan, and Seapine Brewing, alongside its Chinese food menu.
Craft beer kitchen Kokorono Tsuki, a beer pub on the second floor in Yokohama’s Noge area, opened at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23. In the post, the shop highlighted its usual pairing of craft beer and Chinese dishes, including steamed chicken with green Sichuan pepper and scallion sauce, ebi mayo, and yodare wonton.
The day’s tap list featured six beers:
- Garden Path Fermentation / The Twisted Branch Out
- Nara Brewing / Double Swisher
- Hop Kotan Brewing / Ihou
- Hop Kotan Brewing / Akaki wa Sake no Toga
- Seapine Brewing / Citra Hazy IPA
- Hop Kotan Brewing / Inversion
The lineup mixed Japanese breweries with U.S. names, making it easy to compare different approaches side by side. One beer had its style stated directly: Seapine Brewing’s Citra Hazy IPA. The other names also pointed to a lineup with plenty of character.
Kokorono Tsuki’s location in Miyagawa-cho gives it the feel of a tucked-away neighborhood stop rather than a large flagship bar. The post also noted that the shop would be closed from Aug. 24 to 26, which made Aug. 23 the key day for anyone hoping to catch this tap list in person.
