Joining the second half of Kofu Beer Fest

TPM Brewing, a craft brewery in Nishikatsura, Yamanashi, announced that it will once again join Kofu Beer Fest. According to the brewery’s Instagram post, its participation is scheduled for the second half of the event, from July 29 through August 2.

The brewery says it will serve its Belgian White and Pilsner, along with limited beers such as a Peach Peach Ale made with peaches grown in Yamanashi Prefecture. In the height of summer, lighter beer styles and fruit-forward releases should make for an especially appealing festival lineup.

On its official shop, TPM Brewing describes itself as a brewery born in Nishikatsura, Yamanashi, where it brews craft beer with water drawn from Mt. Fuji’s spring sources. That local setting is part of what gives the brewery’s beers their identity, and beer festivals offer a chance to experience that character in a more direct way.

For beer fans, events like Kofu Beer Fest are not only about drinking seasonal releases, but also about comparing styles from the same brewery side by side. TPM Brewing’s participation should make the festival a good place to revisit familiar beers and discover a few limited pours at the same time.
