Mukuraf taps Nomcraft's "Island Grove," updating to six taps
The beer pub Mukuraf in Morishita, Koto Ward, Tokyo, has released its March 14 service update. The new tap is Nomcraft's "Island Grove (Okinawa Mango Ale)," bringing the in-house draft lineup to six. It also announces bottle and cider stock from West Coast Brewing, VERTERE, and Green Neighbors.
The beer pub Mukuraf in Shino-ohashi, Tokyo, updated its beer lineup for the day. The centerpiece of the post is the new tap, Nomcraft's "Island Grove". Introduced as an Okinawa Mango Ale made with mango from Nakijin, Okinawa Prefecture, it is presented as having a light and refreshing finish.
Drafts for the day (lineup in the post)
- Nomcraft "Island Grove"
- TAROS BREWING "GHOST NOTE4"
- GOODHOPS "Cheerful Nectaron"
- Yamamorido "Big Storm Mom"
- LIBUSHI Bashamichi "She is hazy enough foryou"
- GROUNDTAP BREWING "TSURUGI"
The lineup centers on IPA to Hazy IPA styles, while also mixing in a mango ale and a Belgian IPA, making it a well-balanced selection that is easy to compare side by side. It works equally well for settling in early on a weekend and choosing a few beers slowly, or for pairing with food and building a one- or two-drink session.
The bottle selection also includes West Coast Brewing's "Full Hop Alchemist r7," "Alive," and "Slow Motion," along with various Green Neighbors ciders, as well as VERTERE and VERTERE x Ise Kadoya Beer releases. Beyond the draft list, the refrigerated section was also well stocked, which was one of the highlights of Mukuraf that day. The post also noted that there was still plenty of seating available, making it a strong option for anyone looking to enjoy craft beer at a relaxed pace in the Morishita area.
