On Saturday, March 28, Craft Beer Bar Progress in Musashi-Kosugi will hold a TAP TAKE OVER featuring Sakamichi Brewing from Tachikawa. The venue is a beer pub and bottle shop about a 6-minute walk from Musashi-Kosugi Station, open on weekdays from 16:00 to 23:00 and on weekends and holidays from 13:00 to 23:00. It accepts cashless payments only, offers draft beer sold by measure, and allows pets in the outdoor seating area.
This lineup includes heavier pours such as `Anniversary IPA 2026`, `No Rest for the Wicked 2026`, `Hazy DIPA`, and `Cherry Chocolate Imperial Stout`, as well as a wide range from `Yozakura! Rice Lager with Sakura`, `Shirasagi White IPA`, and `Tachikawa Helles`. In addition, `Tama MonoAle: Simcoe Single Hop Pale Ale`, `Tachikawa Hop City Hazy Pale Ale`, `Sumomo mo Momo mo Momo no Hazy Peach Hazy IPA`, `Watling ESB`, and `Hunter's Mark Dip Hop IPA` will also be on tap, creating a selection that moves between hop-driven clarity and malt depth.
The post says Founder Daniel is expected to arrive after 3:00 p.m., making it a chance to drink while hearing the brewery's backstory. On weekends, Musashi-Kosugi has many events around town, so it is easy to stop by after viewing the cherry blossoms at Nikaido Yosui. This is the kind of event that fits Progress's style, welcoming everything from a casual single pint to a serious tasting comparison.
