In an Instagram post by Nagayamahonke Sake Brewery, it was announced that the brewery open house will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00. The venue is Nagayamahonke Sake Brewery, and parking will be at Sakurazutsumi Park. The list of vendors in the post also includes Dr.KONG BREWING, making this look like a particularly noteworthy day for beer fans.

On the day of the event, a shuttle service is scheduled to run between Koto Station and the brewery (departures from 9:50 to 15:30; return service from 11:00 to 16:00). By public transportation, it is about a 7-minute walk from Kida Bus Stop on the Ube City municipal bus. The organizers are urging visitors to prevent drunk driving and to use public transportation.

In addition to food and merchandise vendors, brewery tours are also planned for 11:00 and 14:00 (15 people per session, participation fee of 1,500 yen, same-day registration). The brewery open house limited-edition sake is scheduled to go on sale from 10:00, priced at 3,000 yen per bottle and including a 500 yen voucher usable at vendor booths.

Dr. Kong Brewing is based in Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture (138 Kaji, Oaza Ube, Ube City), and on its official website it describes its mission as “expressing the character of local ingredients.” One of its hallmarks is recipes that make use of sake lees derived from sake breweries, and it has created points of connection between local sake culture and craft beer. This brewery open house is also not to be missed as a local event where that background can be experienced firsthand.
