“YANEURA MART BIG x3” to Be Held at KBL THE GARAGE on February 21-22, with an IPA Fest Running at the Same Time
At KBL THE GARAGE, the second Kyoto Beer Lab location, “YANEURA MART BIG BIG BIG” will take place over two days, February 21 and 22. In addition to two venue-exclusive canned beers, an IPA festival featuring 14 different IPAs will run at the same time. For Kyoto beer fans, it looks like a weekend packed with tasting opportunities.

One of Kyoto’s craft beer hubs, KBL THE GARAGE, has announced an event plan. According to an Instagram post published at 10:13 on February 20, the venue will be the shop itself, the dates will be Saturday, February 21 to Sunday, February 22, and the hours will be 13:00 to 20:00.
The main attraction this time is two types of craft beer cans prepared exclusively for the venue. The post introduces them as follows.
- PINK LABEL LAGER: A classic Helles-style beer brewed with New Zealand hops, with a refreshing, clean finish
- BLUE LABEL XPA: Dank aromas layered with citrus, featuring a lively character and a lingering, robust bitterness
In addition, over the same dates, KBL THE GARAGE will also host its own IPA Fest (14 varieties total). The lineup consists of 7 original beers, including GREEN TEA IPA, HAZY IPA, and Cold IPA, plus 7 guest IPAs from DD4D, NOMCRAFT, Sakamichi Brewing, and others. It’s a lineup that lets drinkers take in “the current state of IPA” in a short span of time.
KBL THE GARAGE is the second location of Kyoto-based Kyoto Beer Lab. Located in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, it serves not only as a regular taproom but also as a venue for events.
