Canal brewing in Oimachi celebrates its 3rd anniversary event, tapping anniversary beers 'try' and 'Momonga Bongos'
Canal brewing (Oimachi, Tokyo) will hold its 3rd anniversary event on Saturday, May 23, and will tap two anniversary beers, including "try" with CAMADO BREWERY and "Momonga Bongos" with NOMCRAFT Brewing. A gacha lottery, limited-time food, and a four-bottle set sale are also planned.
Details of the 3rd Anniversary Event
Canal brewing is a standing-bar-style brewery and craft beer specialty shop located about a four-minute walk from Oimachi Station. With up to 10 draft taps and a wide selection of canned beer, it is known for creating a relaxed space where families and stroller users can also feel welcome.
At the 3rd anniversary event on Saturday, May 23, two anniversary beers will be tapped. The first is "try," a collaboration with CAMADO BREWERY. The style is Scottish ale, and this will be Kamado Brewery's first-ever nitro serving. The second is "Momonga Bongos" with NOMCRAFT Brewing, a beer finished with tropical Hazy Pale Ale character layered with peach notes. A nitro keg will also be available for this one.
On the day, in addition to a gacha lottery, limited food by Shota of Shanty Curry is also scheduled to appear. The lineup will include banh mi, liver paste, and steamed chicken with spicy nut sauce, making it a setup you can enjoy together with beer.
In addition, a limited four-bottle set will be sold, bringing together the original beer "C," try, Momonga Bongos, and Daylight Moon. It is a set that lets you trace in one go the original beers and collaborations Canal brewing has built up over its three years.
