Shuchinikurin to Set Up a Booth at Ikegami Biyori, Serving Limited Beer “Kanjite Nectaron”
The beer pub Shuchinikurin in Musashi-Koyama, Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, announced that it will set up a booth at the 11th Ikegami Biyori, held at Ikegami Honmonji on March 15. In addition to shumai and dim sum, the venue will also serve the shop's original beer, “Kanjite Nectaron.” This daytime outdoor event offers a chance to enjoy food and craft beer pairings.
Based in Musashi-Koyama, Shuchinikurin, known for its combination of craft beer and Chinese-style food, has announced that it will take part in the local event “Ikegami Biyori.”
According to an Instagram post, the booth will be open on Sunday, March 15. The venue is the plaza inside the front gate of Ikegami Honmonji Temple (outdoors), and the event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The post says the shop will bring its popular shumai and dim sum, as well as “sausages that go well with beer.”
The beer highlight is the original brew “Kanjite Nectaron.” The beer is being promoted by name, and visitors are encouraged to enjoy it together with the food. The name evokes its Nectaron roots, and it seems likely to appeal to guests who choose beers with hop character in mind.
Ikegami Biyori is an event that will feature many vendors in addition to Shuchinikurin. During the daytime, one of its attractions is that you can enjoy both eating your way around and sampling drinks at the same time. It is worth paying attention to this as a chance to experience how well the shop's food and beer pair together, in the open-air setting that is unique to an outdoor event, different from a relaxed drink inside the bar.
Shuchinikurin is a beer pub located at 1F, THE CITY Musashi-Koyama, 4-2-3 Koyama, Shinagawa Ward. For those who usually enjoy a leisurely drink inside the shop, why not try Shuchinikurin in its “outdoor-drinking” mode at Ikegami Honmonji on this day?
