Tap list update
Sakura Taps, the beer pub on the second floor in Yoshidamachi, Yokohama, posted its Aug. 6 tap update with two new beers on the board. The venue pairs craft beer with seasonal food and coffee, and this lineup leans into easy-drinking summer flavors.
The two new pours are Suicad 2 / Cycad Brewing and Understand / Break Edge Beer Works. Suicad 2 is built on an American wheat base and uses a bit more watermelon puree than last year, keeping the watermelon freshness while dialing back sweetness for a more refined balance. It also uses Belma, Styrian Wolf, and Wai-iti, adding melon and stone-fruit notes. Understand delivers a bold but clean profile, with grape-candy aromas and a tropical finish that brings mango and passionfruit to the front.
The full eight-tap lineup also includes WC IPA / Derailleur Brew Works, Yoshida-machi Helles 2026 / Sakura Taps × Numazu Craft, Instant Classic / West Coast Brewing, Ogawa Porter / Mugizakkoku Kobo, Seisetsu Biyori / Shirosuzume, and Low-Head System / Brewccoly. With helles, porter, IPA, and fruit-driven beers all on tap, it is an easy board to explore at your own pace.
