BEER & MUSIC Cafe Raisindou, a beer pub in Ibaraki City, Osaka, opened early at 4:00 p.m. on Aug. 22. True to its name, the venue pairs beer with music, and the day’s post highlighted a broad tap list centered on one new keg.
On tap
The fresh opening was Pilsner Urquell, a Czech classic. Other beers listed for the day included Ise Kadoya Brewery’s Electrosquash Sour IPA, Baeren Brewery’s Tsunagu Beer Kobaicha no Lager, Iwate Kura Beer’s Raspberry Pink, a collaboration from REPUBREW and open air brewing called THUNDERSTRUCK IPA, and SAPPORO BEER’s SORACHI 1984.
More to come
Coming up next were Iwate Kura Beer’s English IPA and Baeren Brewery’s The Alchemist’s Golden Lager. Coming soon were Baeren Brewery’s Classic, SUNTORY’s Kaoru Ale, and Minoh Beer’s Momo Weizen (Hakuhou), giving the bar a mix of lager, fruit beer, and hop-forward options.
Food pairing
The food menu leaned into beer-friendly classics: eisbein, cucumber in a Chinese-style dressing, margherita pizza with homegrown basil, smoked tofu, chicken tenderloin, kamaboko, potato salad, sauerkraut-style cabbage, zangi, and fries. It is the kind of lineup that makes it easy to settle in for a long session.
The shop was also handling beer tickets for the Ibaraki Bakuneon Festival 2026, scheduled for Oct. 3 and 4. For drinkers in Osaka looking for a pub with rotating taps and a relaxed atmosphere, Raisindou had a notably balanced lineup that day.
