BEER HUNTING URAWA, a craft-beer pub in Kita-Urawa, published its June 17 tap list. The lineup is built around two real-ale pours served from a hand-pump system, plus three house beers from U.B.P BREWERY and guest beers from breweries across Japan. The post also notes that a Teenage×Nobody TTO is scheduled for June 18, and that some beers are already down to low remaining volume.
The real-ale side features URAWA CITY ALE from U.B.P BREWERY and Pale Ale Real ver from Minoh Beer. U.B.P BREWERY’s own range also includes Kick Off Pils, Asaka no Kisaki Ale, and KEYAKI FORWARD, covering pilsner, mandarin-orange ale, and hazy IPA territory.
Elsewhere on the board are Sokujyo 1 Year Aged from Umenishiki, Origin to Future from Hop Kotan Brewing, Kozaru IPA from Minoh Beer, Octopus King from Nomcraft, and 1t IPA from Shiga Kogen Beer. That gives the night a broad spread of styles, from bitter and West Coast pale ale to session IPA, Dip Hop IPA, and imperial IPA.
Food is part of the draw too. The kitchen has been updated alongside the hand-pump setup, with shumai leading the menu and plates sized so solo drinkers can order comfortably. A lemon sour lineup made with non-waxed lemons from Mikasajima, Hiroshima, plus fruit-forward grated sour options, rounds out the non-beer choices. It is a practical place to spend an evening if you want beer, food, and a pub atmosphere in one stop.
