At Minna no Craft Beer Bar Ryogoku/Kuramae in Ishiwara, Sumida Ward, Tokyo, craft beer is currently being served on 6 taps. The lineup consists of six beers: Black Tide Brewing's `Second Breath`, Nomcraft Brewing's `Banana Kick`, Open Air Brewing's `warm up`, Kaigan Brewery's `Gashadokuro 餓者髑髏`, `Tsuchigumo 土蜘蛛`, and `Neo Sakuya`. The selection spans a wide range of styles, including IPA, banana weizen, hazy IPA, single-hop NE IPA, dry-hopped saison, and hibiscus yuzu lager.
In a post, the owner also shared a vision of opening a second "Minna no Craft Beer Bar" location by December 31, 2027. The desired areas are Ueno and Okachimachi, and the immediate challenge is said to be raising funds. For now, the top priority is to strengthen sales and energy at the current Ryogoku/Kuramae location, while focusing on the customers in front of them.
As a beer pub, the shop seems likely to become a go-to stop for craft beer fans, offering drinks while enjoying conversation across the counter. Food-wise, pizza is also available, making it easy to pair with a day when you want to drink in earnest. The schedule also includes the "KAIGAN BREWERY TAP TAKEOVER" on May 23, a tap takeover by a certain brewery on June 13, and "WCB CAN SHARE NIGHT (reservation required)" on June 27, so the fun of rotating kegs will continue.
In the Ryogoku/Kuramae area, this is a spot worth watching as a place where you can sample six distinct beers side by side and taste the bar's current position.
