Yamorido releases NZ Wheat IPA “Makomako” in Kyoto Fushimi

Yamorido, a brewpub in Fushimi, Kyoto, has announced the release of its NZ Wheat IPA, Makomako.
Makomako is brewed with Pale and Wheat malts, and hopped with Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Citra CRYO, Mosaic, and Idaho7. It is set at IBU 50 and ABV 6.5%, with a profile described as fruity and expressive, showing melon, orange, and pineapple notes alongside the firm bitterness expected from an IPA.
The day’s tap list also includes house beers such as Chaka Buki, Minamikaze, SKIP, Gogo no Stout, Chaka Buki - Shincha ver -, and Nanamin, the brewery’s 7th anniversary beer. Guest beers listed on the lineup are Oscura Dorada from Devil Craft and HOP SUMMIT from Gangi Brewing. As a brewpub in Kyoto’s traditional Fushimi district, Yamorido offers a place to enjoy a focused lineup and compare styles side by side.
