Mallika Brewing, which operates a brewery and craft beer cafe in Daimon-cho, Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, has brewed its spring staple, the saison "Haru Rarara," once again this year. On the official store, it is listed as "Mallika094 / Haru Rarara / Saison" and is sold in sets of 3, 6, and 12 bottles.

The recipe combines cardamom, juniper berries, bergamot, hibiscus, elderflower, and apple. The style is saison, the ABV is 6.5%, Nelson Sauvin is used for the hops, and Farmhouse Vibes is used for the yeast. The aroma is described as complex, while the drinking experience is said to be "the kind that slips into your body like a sports drink," and the finish is dry. It is designed to layer spice, herbs, and fruit notes into a light, springlike profile.

Mallika Brewing is a relatively new brewery that opened its craft beer cafe in 2021 and began brewing in 2022. Its location in the Zenkoji monzen district means it balances rooted local operations with playful, creative messaging. In this Instagram post, it also introduced a "snack play-acting" scene at "Snack Megumi" to coincide with the release, conveying the feeling of spring not just through the beer itself but through the atmosphere surrounding it.

Rather than leaning on flashy limited-edition appeal, this is a beer that carefully builds its identity through recipe character and drinkability. It is a saison to enjoy with the spring table or alongside strongly aromatic dishes, and one that deserves attention again this year.
