The “Tokachi Blessings Hands-On Tour vol. 4,” introduced in a related post on Rikka’s official Instagram account, is a hands-on event held at a field in Urahoro Town, Tokachi, Hokkaido. The post explained that the brewery makes craft beer from barley and hops grown through regenerative organic farming and no-till organic cultivation.

This time’s highlight is the birth of a “100% Urahoro malt beer.” It is also being offered for purchase on the day, so participants can experience not only the beer’s flavor but also the story of the fields and ingredients behind it. True to the event name, it is a plan to experience the “blessings” before drinking them.

On the day, a barley sowing experience and a solar cooker cooking workshop are scheduled. The event is limited to a small number of participants, and the fee includes light food and drinks, though beer is charged separately. There is also guidance that, in case of rain, the program will switch to a barley tea roasting experience inside a glass greenhouse, so the event is designed to adapt to weather conditions.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a capacity of 20 people. Applications are accepted via DM, and participants are told to bring clothes that can get dirty, boots, work gloves, a hat, and drinks. It is also clearly noted that there are no restrooms on the field, so use of a nearby roadside station or similar facility is assumed.

Rikka is a brewery introduced on its official website as a Hokkaido organic craft beer brand. While based in Sapporo’s Nishi Ward, it continues to share messages about its connection to the land and the ideas of the people who make it. This tour seems likely to be one of the best places to see that approach in action.
