OGA BREWING Launches Red Post IPA and Announces Graduation Beer
OGA BREWING COMPANY in Mitaka, Tokyo has newly put the biscuit-like, caramel-forward "Red Post IPA" on tap. It also announced release events for its graduation beer on March 26 and 29.
OGA BREWING COMPANY, based in Mitaka, Tokyo, operates a taproom attached to its brewery and offers craft beers themed around Chuo Line stations and Mitaka-grown produce. In its latest Instagram post, the brewery mentioned that staff member Hinako has switched to summer clothes, noted that the season has become one where it is easier to enjoy beer outdoors, and shared that "Red Post IPA" has newly gone on tap.
According to the post, "Red Post IPA" has a biscuit-like caramel character and is finished as a rounded India Pale Ale. In addition to its regular beers such as "Mitaka Pale Ale," "Mitaka Wheat Ale," and "Kichijoji IPA," OGA BREWING also produces limited-batch and collaboration beers, and its lineup is known for reflecting local scenery and the atmosphere of the neighborhood.
The post also announced "Graduation Beer Release Event 2026." Beer brewed by An, Aria, and Liam, who are graduating from OGA this spring, will be available over two days, March 26 and 29, while the taproom will continue its regular business hours. From April 16, weekday opening time will change to 1:00 p.m., while weekends and holidays will remain at 11:00 a.m.
If you want to try something new in Mitaka, this "Red Post IPA" is the first one to check out.
