Toyful Brewery Wins Silver at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2024; Three Kurume Labels Honored
Toyful Brewery in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, won multiple silver awards at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2024. GREEN APPLE, CHOCOLAT ORANGE, and CHAI COKE were recognized, with the innovative beers served at the attached beer restaurant earning acclaim in national judging.
Award-winning labels
The three labels that won silver at the 2024 Japan Great Beer Awards were GREEN APPLE, CHOCOLAT ORANGE, and CHAI COKE. In the judging, in addition to balance, aftertaste, and condition, the beer's distinctive appeal is also said to be evaluated.
GREEN APPLE is characterized by its refreshing apple flavor and light, easy-drinking finish. CHOCOLAT ORANGE combines chocolate malt and orange, achieving both richness and a broad aromatic profile. CHAI COKE uses Assam tea and spices, and with a unique design that does not add hops during the boil, it brings the impression of chai to the forefront.
