In its July 17 post, Tsumugi announced a new tap of `Keller` from Wolfbräu. The name refers to a German cellar-style lager, a beer meant to evoke the direct-from-tank character of the brewery rather than a heavily dressed-up profile. This pour comes from Wolfbräu in Naha, Okinawa, and shows a gold color, a smooth palate, and a crisp finish.

The core of the beer is the yeast-driven fruitiness and umami, with smoked malt layered on top for extra depth. It is not the kind of lager that leans on flashy hop aroma; instead, it is built for drinkers who want to follow the malt structure and fermentation character carefully, sip by sip.

Wolfbräu is a German-style brewery based in Shuri, Naha, where a German brewer works under the Reinheitsgebot idea of using only malt, hops, and yeast. That restrained approach fits Keller well. Bringing that sort of clean, old-world lager to Minami-Kashiwa makes for a compelling guest-beer choice.

The host, `2階のクラフトビール屋つむぎ`, is a second-floor beer pub near the west exit of Minami-Kashiwa Station. The shop’s own website describes it as a bright, casual place to enjoy craft beer without feeling overly formal. Keller should fit naturally there, whether you want a quiet first pint or a beer to sit with over a meal.
