Gahaha Beer, a brewpub in Minamisuna, Koto Ward, Tokyo, announced a June 7 service to mark its 9th anniversary. The brewery makes its own beer inside a residential complex and serves it in the attached dining room, so the day is set to feel like a neighborhood celebration with regulars and friends.

The post highlights the house flagship, Marcy IPA. On the brewery's official site, it is listed as a session IPA built around Mosaic hops, with an aroma-forward profile, moderate bitterness, and easy drinkability. For the anniversary service, Marcy IPA will be offered at the same price regardless of size.

The post also says that beers from friends will be on tap for the commemorative day, although no outside labels are named. That mix of house beer and guest pours is the main draw here: an anniversary lineup centered on one of Gahaha Beer’s core beers.

Located in Tokyo's Minamisuna district, Gahaha Beer is the kind of place where craft beer and food are meant to be enjoyed together. The June 7 event looks set to reflect that everyday, local character while still feeling distinctly celebratory.
