A broad craft beer lineup in Oimachi

Canal brewing in Oi, Shinagawa, has updated its “Today’s Tap List” with 10 beers. The selection combines house beer, Japanese craft breweries, and collaborations, offering a wide range of styles in a compact standing-bar setting.

The house beer on tap is “C,” an IPA from Canal brewing. The lineup also includes “Peanut Butter Po Taro,” a flavored porter made in collaboration with Cycad Brewing. Its distinctive name and dark, ingredient-driven profile make it an appealing choice for drinkers looking beyond standard pale beers.

Hop-focused options include CHORYO Craft Beer’s “Krush/Mosaic HAZY IPA” and Teenage Brewing’s “Next Up,” a double IPA brewed with passion fruit, pineapple, and kaffir lime leaf. These pours sit alongside more refreshing choices such as CRAFT BANK’s “04-KOLSCH,” FLORA FERMENTATION’s “FLORA LAGER,” and Passific Brewing’s “Spawn” hoppy saison.

The list also brings several unusual ingredients and serving methods into the mix. Nara Brewing’s “WATERMELON HEAD” is a wheat ale made with watermelon, while FARMENTRY’s “Dark Mild -Nitro Ver-” is served on nitro for a softer, creamier texture. ANTELOPE’s “SANAGI 5 - Sora” adds a mead option to the selection, giving visitors an opportunity to explore fermented drinks beyond beer.
