Tap and bottles

With the rain finally giving way to blue sky, Tokyo beer pub Mukuraf shared its daily lineup from Morishita in Koto City. The post framed the day as a relaxed one for enjoying both food and craft beer, with plenty of seats available.

The day’s only new draft was KaruizawaQ’s Shakō American IPA. Brewed with the new U.S. hop variety Ramosa, it is described as bringing bright orange and grapefruit-like citrus, plus pine and a hint of tropical fruit. The beer is set up with a dry finish and a moderate bitterness, giving it a clean IPA profile.

Other drafts on tap included Asahi’s Maruefu pilsner, Sankt Gallen’s Suika Wheat, VOYAGER BREWING’s COPPER red ale, BREW CLASSIC’s Tuatara hazy IPA, and 家守堂’s Nananmin juicy IPA.

The bottle list was just as broad. VERTERE brought Passiflora#48 Hazy IPA, Achillea#1 West Coast IPA, Galanthus#3 dark ale, Benitoa#8 Belgian blonde ale, and Vespa mango sour. GOODHOPS added Do Good IPA, Galaxy Hop Field saison, Tono Belgian IPA, Dusk Cascade IPA, and East Wind of Tono IPA. Also listed were West Coast Brewing’s The Lupulin Tree Hazy DIPA, PassionWizard, and Hop Fua Hazy IPA; GreenNeighborHardCider’s CITRUSwithCALAMANSI, LA FRANCE, and SOUR; plus Uchu Brewing’s KONBINI IPA.

Mukuraf also welcomes bottle-only visits, which makes the shop a practical stop for people who want to choose a beer by style and mood rather than only by tap. For anyone around Shino-Ohashi looking to pair a meal with a careful beer selection, this is a place worth keeping in mind.
