A beer trail through Mashiko

Mashiko Beer Trail will be held in Mashiko, Tochigi, on October 10 and 11, 2026. The event connects four venues: Starnet Zone, the area in front of Komine Kiln/nagi, Mingel Farmhouse beer&bread, and Tsukamoto Hontaku. Located within roughly a one-kilometer area, the venues are designed to be explored on foot while taking in Mashiko’s autumn scenery.

Nine breweries from Tochigi and beyond will participate. The lineup includes Yorocco Beer from Kamakura, Streetlight Brewing from Sapporo, 808 Brewery from Oyama, Novel Craft Brewing from Tokyo, Blue Magic from Utsunomiya, and Pirono Beer from Koriyama, alongside local brewery Mingel.

Mingel as a local hub

At the third venue, Mingel Farmhouse beer&bread, Mingel will be joined by Blue Magic and Pirono Beer. Based in Mashiko, Mingel operates as a farmhouse beer and bread shop, creating products rooted in the rhythms of local life.

The brewery has developed a range of beers, including “Hara Iso,” a lager made with New Zealand hops. Visitors will be able to taste Mingel’s beers while experiencing the brewery’s relaxed setting and the character of Mashiko itself.

More than beer

In addition to the breweries, the event will feature 16 food, book, vintage clothing, and outdoor gear vendors. Depending on the venue and day, visitors can find coffee, baked goods, pizza, okonomiyaki, ceramics, clothing, and books.

Some vendors will appear on only one of the two days. Organizers say further details will be updated through the official account, so visitors should check the latest information before attending. The event offers a compact way to enjoy Mashiko’s craft beer scene alongside its food and creative culture.
