June 13 tap list

Hinomoto Brewing & Beer Stand in Komagome ran normal service on Saturday, June 13. In the caption, the brewery noted that it would also be out pouring at the Tsukishinobashi night market "Chitoyo" the same day, and that it would join the 8th anniversary beer picnic at Crank Beer on Sunday, June 14.

The day’s `Today’s on Tap` leaned heavily on house beers. `Sauvin Belgo` was listed as an American Belgo Style Ale, `Pēpēpē` as a Norwegian Pale Ale, `Seitan Raimei #2` as a West Coast IPA, `Ryūsui Sōsō #2` as an Italian Pilsner, and `Yunosu Saison` as a Yuzu Sour Saison. The lower half of the board added `Komagome Brown`, `Komagome Best Bitter`, `EL BAMP HAZY`, and `Kurotobi #4`, giving the tap room a wide spread from Belgian-influenced beers to bitter, hazy, and stout.

The venue is a brewpub in Bunkyo, Tokyo, with hours set at 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends and holidays, closed on Wednesdays. It is a straightforward beer-first space: house craft beer, a compact tap room, and snack-style food that keeps the focus on the glass.

For drinkers who want to catch the brewery’s latest output in Komagome, this was a solid Saturday update.
