Beer Bar Festa (Festa) Shimokitazawa shared its tap update for Wednesday, Aug. 26. The bar opens at 6 p.m. and stays open until 1 a.m. on weekdays, and the post notes that the shop is kept cool inside. It is a fifth-floor beer pub in Shimokitazawa, at Daishin Building 5F, 2-9-1 Kitazawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.
What is pouring
The new keg of the day is Repubrew's Kampai Hazy. Other Japanese drafts on the board include Minoh Hoppy Weizen, Shiga Kogen IPA ver.2.03 Center of the Universe in both the regular and real ale versions, Minoh x Yorocco Compass, HOJO Stout, T.Y. HARBOR's Kanpai West Coast Pilsner, and the regular Heartland.
The overseas side is just as strong: Revision Brewing Company's Revision DIPA, Dieu du Ciel!'s Moralite, and DDC!'s Rosee de Dibiuscus. With IPA, DIPA, weizen, stout, and pilsner all represented, the list makes it easy to build a tasting route from light to full-bodied. A few beers are marked as nearly out, so an early visit makes sense if you have a target in mind.
