Aomori Brew Pub in Aomori’s Yasukata district announced the start of sales for Be Easy Brewing’s limited can beer, “Daiji na Keyagu.” The beer is a Red IPA at 6.5% ABV, built around a firm malt backbone with enough hop presence to keep the finish vivid and balanced.

The name `Daiji na Keyagu` comes from Tsugaru dialect and means “precious friend.” According to the brewery’s release, the beer was created in collaboration with a Saitama beer bar that was one of the first nine accounts to put Be Easy Brewing’s very first batch on tap 10 years ago. With both sides marking their 10th anniversaries, the release is framed as a beer that celebrates a decade-long craft beer connection between Aomori and Saitama.

In flavor terms, the beer layers Amber and Crystal malt character with Cascade, Simcoe, and Motueka hops. The result is described as rich and multi-layered, with orange-marmalade-like fruitiness, a touch of spice, and a clean, moderate bitterness. For drinkers who want an IPA with real malt depth rather than hop intensity alone, this is a noteworthy release.

Aomori Brew Pub itself is a brewpub on the second floor of Gareth Building, within walking distance of Aomori Station. It offers a setting where house beer and guest beer can be enjoyed side by side, giving the space both a local Aomori feel and a playful, experimental craft beer spirit. The limited can is worth checking out alongside a drink in the pub.
