New guest beers

MOONRISE KINGDOM, a beer pub in Nishi-Shinjuku, introduced two guest beers for its Wednesday dinner service on June 3. Both beers come from VERTERE in Okutama.

`Sapida -Single Hop IPA-` is a Single Hop IPA brewed with Motueka. The post describes it as showing tropical fruit, citrus, light grapefruit, and lemon notes, with a smooth palate and a clear hop aroma that should appeal to IPA fans.

`Acca // NZIPA` is an IPA made with two New Zealand hop varieties. It brings grapefruit- and passion fruit-like aromas together with a silky mouthfeel from oats. The beer sounds hop-forward but still easy to drink alongside food.

Built for beer and food

MOONRISE KINGDOM is a place where craft beer and food are both part of the draw. The post highlights dishes such as red sea bream ceviche, fish tacos, corn omelet, KINGDOM burrito, garlic shrimp, cold tomato basil capellini, and MOONRISE spicy green curry. The menu gives drinkers plenty of options to pair with a fresh tap like VERTERE's new releases.

The pub is open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner from 17:30 to 23:00 (last order 22:00). It also takes reservations and takeout by phone. On top of the draft lineup, the venue keeps three domestic taps and 30 domestic and imported bottled beers, so it works well both for a quick pint and for a longer tasting session.

The atmosphere in the post

The caption also mentions returning overseas guests and praise for the food, which suggests a casual but welcoming room where beer, meals, and conversation all matter. For anyone looking for a Nishi-Shinjuku stop with fresh guest taps and a menu that can keep up, this is one to remember.
