Beer House Hobbit in Kawaramachi, Hirakata, Osaka, is now serving Minoh Beer’s seasonal Japanese Peach Weizen Hakuhou Ver.

Minoh Beer’s Japanese Peach Weizen is made with Arakawa peaches from Hachiki Farm in Wakayama Prefecture. The peaches are processed into purée by hand on the day they are harvested, allowing the beer to retain a fresh fruit character.

The base is a wheat beer brewed with 50% wheat malt. Aromas associated with Weizen yeast, including clove and banana, mingle with the juicy character of Hakuhou peaches. Despite its expressive fruit aroma, the beer is not designed to finish sweet. Its gentle wheat texture is balanced by a crisp, clean finish.

The beer has an ABV of 5.0%, an IBU of 12, and a milky pale appearance. Minoh Beer recommends serving it at 8–12°C. Hakuhou is known in Japan as a particularly juicy peach variety, giving this release a fuller fruit impression than the earlier Wase version in the seasonal series.

Beer House Hobbit is a craft beer pub located in Kawaramachi, Hirakata. The tap release offers an opportunity to enjoy a limited seasonal beer in a relaxed pub setting. Guests interested in trying the Hakuhou version should check current availability with the venue before visiting.
