Tap List for May 16

The beer pub Craft beer kitchen Kokoro no Tsuki, on the second floor in Miyagawacho, Naka Ward, Yokohama, announced its business lineup for Saturday, May 16. The shop opens at 2 p.m. that day. True to its concept of serving craft beer and Chinese cuisine, the tap list features six beers with distinct personalities.

This Day's Lineup

- Mind Gardens / Radiant Beer
- Taihu IPA / Taihu Brewing
- AKIRA's Day Off / Hoppukotan Brewing
- Tasuki-TASUKI- / Barbaric Works
- Govy 500 / Migration Brewing
- Kotan and AKIRA / Hoppukotan Brewing

Looking at the beers on offer, the lineup spans a wide range, from IPAs with a sharp hop profile to a beer with a playful name, plus selections from a Hokkaido brewery. Having Taiwan's Taihu Brewing, Portland, U.S.-based Migration Brewing, and Japan's Radiant Beer, Barbaric Works, and Hoppukotan Brewing on the same day is an appealing mix for beer lovers who want to compare styles.

Kokoro no Tsuki is known in the Noge area as a place where craft beer and Chinese food can be enjoyed together. In this post as well, the dishes listed included easy beer pairings such as steamed chicken with green sansho pepper sauce, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles, ginger chicken, candied nuts, shrimp mayo, and mouthwatering wontons. The lineup makes it easy to pair each tap's character with aromatic, spicy, and savory dishes.

A quiet spot in Noge's Miyagawacho where you can sample several beers while nibbling on Chinese dishes. It looks like the kind of day that would suit that perfectly.
